The Courthouse
The office is located inside the Ronald Reagan U.S. Courthouse, 411 West Fourth Street, Santa Ana, California 92701 in Suite 7110 on the 7th floor. The office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Personal computers are allowed in the courthouse – internet access is available in the jury assembly room. Use of cell phones (calling, texting or game playing), cameras, or other electronic devices that have video, sound, or photographic capabilities are prohibited in the courtrooms. However you can use your cell phones in the jury assembly room. For security, all visitors must go through a metal detector. Picture ID is required. Clients or witnesses are not allowed into the courthouse on weekends or holidays.
Public Transit Options
The Santa Ana Office is a short bus ride away from both the Santa Ana Amtrak and Metrolink stations. Take the 83 bus from the Santa Ana-Fuller stop right in front of the Amtrak Station (2 blocks from the Metrolink station) to Santa Ana-Ross, and then walk the short remaining distance to the office. The Santa Ana Amtrak station, as well as the Santa Ana Metrolink Station and the 83 stop Santa Ana-Ross are marked with green balloons on the map. By clicking on the train icon at the Metrolink Station, you can view a list of upcoming departing trains.
There are two options for taking a train from Union Station in Los Angeles to Santa Ana. The Orange County Metrolink Line route can be seen here and the two Amtrak routes can be seen here. To travel within Orange County, the Orange County Trip planner here can help you find the best route.
Parking
Parking is available at the following locations: 201 W. Third Street (maximum $12.00 per day), Civic Center Parking (Flower & 6th Street) at $12.00 per day, and Parton & Civic Center Drive at $5.00 per day. There is also limited metered parking available in front of the courthouse.
Dining Options
There are a variety of dining choices, bakeries, and cafes near the courthouse. Our favorite restaurant is Crave. There is also a cafeteria located in the courthouse on the third floor and is under a new vendor, Knowlwood (Home of the World’s Best Hamburger). Click here for a list of dining options in the area.
